The Winston-Salem Open is right around the corner! USTA North Carolina is hosting the annual event, Kids’ Day, on Wake Forest’s Truist Field in conjunction with the Winston-Salem Open team again this year!
Winston-Salem Tennis is asking for volunteer to help USTA North Carolina for Kids’ Day this year. Almost 300 kids will participate, and they need YOU! As a volunteer, you will be on the playing field (yes we said field!) helping children ages 6-12 with introductory tennis games and activities. In many cases, it is the participants first experience to the game of tennis. We are so appreciative of our volunteers help and support for this event. It would not be possible without your involvement!
Here is basic information about Kids Day:
When: Saturday August 20. The time commitment will be approximately 8:30am-1:00pm
Where: Wake Forest Football Field (Truist Field at Wake Forest) - 499 Deacon Blvd, Winston-Salem, NC 27105.
Attire: Athletic attire as you will be moving around with the kids!
Food: Lunch will be provided for you following the event.
If you are interested in volunteering, please reply to Robert Hogewood, Community Engagement & Training Manager with USTA North Carolina. If you know anyone else who may be interested in volunteering, please have them contact Robert directly.
