Who is ready to join in the FUN for this JTT fall season?
What is Junior Team Tennis? JTT is a FUN level-based team competition for youth in our community. Sign-up as a team or as an individual. Teams can be all girls, all boys or a combination of both! Gain valuable match play experience in a fun, social league environment! Players do need to be able to serve, keep the ball in play with success of 2+shots, keep score, know where to stand, and the rules of the game, even in the beginner division.
The fall JTT league does NOT have a State Championship – it is all for fun!
2024 Fall Information Registration Opens: August 18th
Team Deadlines: All teams need a minimum # of 6 registered by September 6th Season: September 15th through October 20th
When are matches played: Sunday afternoons – 1:30pm and 3:00pm
Where are the Matches Played: Matches may be scheduled for West Forsyth High School, Hanes Park, or any local clubs/facilities that may have teams with their home matches being at their courts.
A schedule for the season will be completed and sent to parents/coaches along with posted on Tennislink so teams will know each week where and what time their match will be.
Coaches, Pros, Parent Captains: Each team must have a captain whether it is a Coach, Pro or a parent. A captain is responsible for organizing the team each week. That includes seeing what players are available, making sure they know when and where to be each week, do the line-up and communicate to the team who is playing where and with who, and record the players/scores at the end of the match to be turned into the Coordinator.
All coaches, pros and official parent captains, must complete the USTA Safe Play background screening and online education from the US Center for Safe Sport.
Age Divisions: (must be age eligible through October 31 , 2024)
• 10&Under – Beginner – Orange Ball
• 10&Under – Intermediate – Green Ball
• 10&Under – Advance – Green Ball
• 12&Under – Beginner and Intermediate
• 12&Under – Advanced – Yellow Ball
• 14&Under – Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced – Yellow Ball
• 18&Under – Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced – Yellow Ball
